Build-a-thon
The Focus Group meeting will be followed by the Build-a-thon: Building PoCs and demos for AINN on 13 June 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan located at Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi-110003, India.
The objectives of the Build-a-thon are:
- Analyse FG AINN use cases, requirements and foster awareness.
- Practical analysis of feasibility and trade-offs by way of PoC for specific use cases, or architecture concepts.
- Based on the workshop, come up with new inputs for the FG in the areas of Gap, Use Case, Architecture, and PoC.
- Engage stakeholders in discussions and collaborations to advance AI-native networks, especially a crowd-sourced coding activity in the form of Build-a-thon.
- Provide a hands-on experience in AI-driven network innovations.
This event will serve as a platform for engaging researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to drive innovation in AI-native networks. The Build-a-thon will have interactive sessions for in-person and remote participants, allowing for discussions and presentations from experts in the fields of AINN.
Registration and other details related to problem statements, formats for submission, FAQs etc. for Build-a-thon event will be updated on the FG-AINN Collaboration site SharePoint on FG-AINN homepage. Domestic travel for selected teams (max 3 members, including mentors) for the Build-a-thon event (June 11-13, 2025) in New Delhi, will be reimbursed by sponsors on actual basis subject to maximum ceiling limit of Rs. 15000/- per head. Accommodation, in DoT (India) Training Center at National Communication Academy, Ghaziabad (Delhi National Capital Region), will be arranged for the participants who wish to avail the same.
Build-a-thon online mentoring sessions
The schedule for the online mentoring sessions that will support journey of interested parties through the four stages of the Build-a-thon: Building PoCs and demos for AINN.
These sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 3:00 PM IST (11:30 AM CET), starting from Friday, 23rd May 2025, and are designed to help you shape, implement, and present demo with expert guidance.

Mentoring Schedule:
Stage 1: Demo Proposals (Online)
- Session 1 – Friday, 23 May: Kick-off and overview of demo proposal expectations.
- Session 2 – Tuesday, 27 May: Feedback and refinement of your demo proposals.
Stage 2: Implementation Proposals (Online)
- Session 3 – Friday, 30 May: Submission and discussion of detailed implementation plans.
Stage 3: Initial Implementation (Online)
- Session 4 – Tuesday, 3 June: Share early implementation progress and receive feedback.
- Session 5 – Friday, 6 June: Continue with implementation updates. Submit current status and plan for final demo.
Stage 4: Final Demo & Report (Physical/ Online)
- Session 6 – Wednesday, 11 June: Introductory Session to Build-a-thon
- Session 7 – Thursday, 12 June: Build-a-thon Review Sessions
- Session 8 – Friday, 13 June: Final demo presentations and report submission during the in-person Build-a-thon workshop.
